Started With a Match, Turned Into Something Real

Hana and James matched on a quiet Wednesday. Neither was sure about international dating. Both had tried apps before without much success.

Their first conversation lasted forty minutes. Their second lasted three hours. By the end of the first week they had established a rhythm — morning messages from Amsterdam, evening calls from Seoul.

"It felt natural in a way I had not expected," James says. "Like we had already figured out the hard part."

Hana flew to Amsterdam four months after they matched. James showed her his city for a week. She said it felt like coming home to a place she had never been.

They are still figuring out the logistics. But neither of them is in any rush to stop figuring it out together.
